Methods for Custom T-Shirt Printing

1. DTF Printing (Direct to Film Printing)

DTF printing involves printing a design onto a special film (rather than directly onto fabric) and then using heat press machines to transfer the print onto the T-shirt. DTF printers allow for full-color, high-quality prints, including complex designs, gradients, and photographic details. The prints produced by DTF are soft to the touch, ensuring comfort, and the designs won't feel heavy or stiff on the fabric.

2. DTG Printing (Direct to Garment Printing)

DTG printing is a process where the design is printed directly onto the T-shirt using a inkjet printer that sprays water-based inks directly onto the fabric. DTG printer allows for detailed, full-color designs, making it ideal for designs with a lot of detail, complex images, and photographs.

3. DTF Transfers (Direct to Film Transfers)

DTF transfers are similar to DTF printing, but instead of printing directly onto the fabric, the design is printed onto a transfer film first. The transfer film is then heat-pressed onto the T-shirt. Essentially, DTF transfers are a part of the broader DTF printing process but specifically refer to the transfer step.
